Collab 4 HySust CCI, an emerging innovation project supported by the “Creative Europe” programme, is pleased to announce the selection of participants. The response to the programme was remarkable, with participants coming from 48 different organizations across more than five countries. This highlighted the dynamism and creative richness embedded within Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.
The Collab 4 HySust CCI programme aims to support 15 European cultural and creative organizations on a journey of development, innovation, and collaboration.

The themes of the Collab 4 HySust CCI Open Call, “Audience and Hybrid Approaches” and “Sustainability in Collaborative Processes,” attracted a wide range of cultural institutions, non-profit organizations, start-ups, academic institutions, and community-based organizations to apply for the programme.
Among the selected participants, 53.3% come from the field of audience development, highlighting the project’s commitment to fostering innovation in this dynamic sector.
The selected participants will embark on an exciting journey. They will be mentored by experienced professionals, take part in a comprehensive training programme, receive a €3,000 grant to develop their projects, and gain visibility through hybrid events and access to the Southeastern Europe regional network, along with opportunities for collaboration within the European Union.
The project timeline includes the call for proposals, which opened on July 1, 2023, and concluded on September 30, 2023. The incubation activities will begin in December 2023 and will run for a duration of 16 months.
The project is implemented by Materahub (IT), Intercultura Consult (BG), Syn+Ergasia (EL), Det Flyvende Teater (DK), and Nova Iskra Creative Hub (RS).
Supporters of the project include the Creative Europe Programme (CREA) and the National Culture Fund of Bulgaria.
